RED, WHITE, BLUE AND YOU

Join the fun of the CITY OF LAKE CHARLES annual RED, WHITE, BLUE, AND YOU city wide FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION Sunday July 4, 2010.  Festivities start with the dedication of the Vietnam era Huey Helicopter at 4:40 PM at Veterans' Memorial Park on the Lake Front.  At 6 PM there will be a FOURTH OF JULY Parade from Mill Street south on Ryan Street to Sallier.  The RED, WHITE, BLUE AND YOU program starts at the Lake Charles Civic Center Arcade Pavilion at 7 PM and will include music by Westlake High School Jazz Band, Prizes awarded for Blur ribbon Apple Pies, a concert by the Lake Charles Community Band, a salute to the Armed Forces and will wrap up with the annual Fireworks Extravaganza Over the Lake at 9:15 PM.  For more information call 337-491-9147.
