Brief Description Of Activity

1

Host Job Fairs (4)

Our SEU hosted four open houses at our facilities throughout the reporting period—March 20, 2007, August 15, 2007, October 17, 2007 and December 13, 2007—to provide an inside glimpse at broadcast careers to interested applicants.  The event included tours of the facility and the opportunity for potential employees to meet one-on-one with station personnel to discuss careers and advancement in the broadcast industry.  The event was advertised via on-air announcements and applications were accepted. Station participants included our market manager, operations manager, sales manager and human resources director.

2

Participate in Job Fair

On March 6, 2007, our SEU participated in the McNeese State University Job Fair.  Station representatives visited with students and explained careers related to the broadcasting industry.  Station participants included our market manager, operations manager, sales manager, promotion director, engineer and human resources director.

3

Participate in Job Fair

On October 6, 2007, our SEU participated in the McNeese State University Job Fair.  Station representatives visited with students and explained careers related to the broadcasting industry.  Station participants included our market manager, operations manager, sales manager, promotion director, engineer and human resources director.

4

On September 13, 2007, our SEU participated in the Sowela Technical College Job Fair.  Station representatives visited with students and explained careers related to the broadcasting industry.  Station participants included our market manager, operations manager, sales manager, promotion director, engineer and human resources director.

5

Participate in Event/Program Sponsored by an Educational Institution Relating to Careers in Broadcasting

On November 7, 2007 and December 7, 2007, our market manager taught classes at the request of the head of Department of Mass Communications at McNeese State University entitled “How to Get a Job in Broadcast.”

6

Participate in Activity Designed to Disseminate Information as to Employment Opportunities in Broadcasting to Job Candidates

In order to expand our relationships with recruitment sources, our market manager and operations manager were recently appointed to the Media Advisory Board for the Department of Mass Communications at McNeese State University.  During this reporting period, we were able to discuss the expansion of our internship opportunities with students at the University and to increase the number of classes that station personnel teach.

7

Internship Program

From June 13, 2007 through July 2, 2007, we hosted a Mass Communications student from McNeese State University for a two-week internship.  The student had the opportunity to be involved in every station department, spending time with each department head to discuss their responsibilities and to participate in various related tasks.
