A Washington, D.C. family has received more than 100 Amazon packages meant for the Arlo hotel during the past six months. Brittany, who requested only her first name be used, believes hotel guests mistakenly select her address instead of the hotel’s when ordering online. Her address appears before the Arlo’s on Amazon’s delivery options, with only a one-letter difference between the two locations. “We’ve received everything from cat food to vitamin supplements to even a chainsaw,” Brittany told NBC4 Washington. “Luckily, that guest came to pick it up, but we did not ask questions. Nor did we answer the door.” She said late-night visitors after 8 p.m. seeking packages create difficulties for her family with a child. Amazon confirmed it’s investigating and developing a solution to the address confusion issue. (Story URL)
